Impact score
- The score in the circle shown for each symptom is the average score for the period of time selected
- The arrow indicates if the impact of the symptom has increased (up) or decreased (down) during the period of time selected
Sorting by Impact score
- When ordering ‘By Impact’, the symptoms will be sorted based on the average impact score for the time period selected. Symptoms that have changed from a lower to higher impact score will be ranked as having increased in impact.
- When ordering ‘By Improvement’, the symptoms will be sorted based on the gradient of the change over the period of time selected. Symptoms that have changed from a higher to lower impact score will be ranked as having increased in improvement.
Percent symptom change
- When viewing the ‘Summary’ tab, a percentage change in overall symptom impact is presented
- The change over time is calculated by fitting a linear regression to the temporal data
- The gradient of the line is used to calculate the percentage change from week 1 to week 6, for the 6-week timeframe visible in the ‘Summary’ tab
- This calculation is then averaged across all currently tracked symptoms to product the overall symptom change shown in the ‘Summary’ tab
Treatment adherence
-
Adherence is calculated using the following formula:
Total number of treatments marked as ‘done’ in Plan ———————————————————————————— x 100 = Adherence score
Total number of treatments scheduled in Plan -
Treatments that are taken ‘as needed’ are excluded from the treatment adherence calculation
